Camp Mataponi

For over 100 years Camp Mataponi, a traditional 7 week overnight camp for girls, has been setting the backdrop for campers to create life long friendships with their peers and counselors. Returning year after year, our girls learn valuable life lessons in becoming confident, independent young women all in a supportive, fun environment.  Activities range from landsports, water sports, fine arts, ropes course, tennis, horseback riding, crafts, gymnastics, outdoor adventure and much more.

The role of counselor can be demanding therefore being able to handle stress and prioritize campers needs often before your own is extremely important. You must have experience working with children in some type of mentoring capacity (ie: Coaching, teaching, babysitting). Water sports and land sports certifications strongly preferred but not mandatory.
